Button maker needs repair

The button maker is not working properly. I cannot feed the button from right to left. Seems the machine has been improperly assembled. Also, I cannot get the machine to fully press when combining the top and bottom of the button. Any tips and guidance appreciated!

We fixed the button maker and used it successfully. It still seems the action is not definitive when you pull the back and front of the button together. Instead, that second pull feels soft and the graphic might rotate about 15 degrees during the press.
