The Rack[edit | edit source]

The Rack is run as an open source project with the same kind of governance. To join Rack, have a look at pages https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/Resources/Network to become familiar with the basic guidelines.

Teach yourself ansible, it’s not terribly difficult, but feel free to ask specific questions in the Ansible topic if you get stuck.

Then start digging through the Infrastructure repo https://github.com/noisebridge/infrastructure. Start looking at the outstanding issues and see if you can take one. If not, we always always need more documentation.

Rack doesn’t deny people, but it will deny PRs. Don’t take it personally. Take initiative and try your best to answer your own question before requesting help.

Each member is expected at some point to complete a Disaster Recovery for networking in the space so downtime is minimized.

When you are ready, make a PR to add yourself to MAINTAINERS.md.
