Introduction

My name is Greg.

I like learning things so Noisebridge is much better than television or watching cat videos.

I live close by, so its a convenient spot.

I've got my four sponsors for Associate Membership. Two sponsors had a technical issue that their endorsements came through an IP address, rather than while logged into the wiki. These endorsements were silently erased, (which I think is poor procedure as I explained fully in an email.)

I asked about 15 people to sponsor me. Mostly people couldn't sponsor because they were not themselves members, and a couple said the would, and it didn't happen. Sometimes the sponsorship process seemed like a pain, but I'm glad for it. It got me to introduce myself to more people, and that's a good thing.
