Noisebridge's 3D printing station is one of our Fabrication Resources.

Our Makerbot printers all died and Replicator Wednesdays are on hiatus.

Printing

  1. You need FTDI drivers installed: FTDI Driver Download
  2. You need ReplicatorG
  3. In ReplicatorG, the machine driver to select is Replicator Dual.
  4. Generate GCode from your STL file.
  5. Click Connect to device.

Troubleshooting

  1. Connecting
    • Connection error: The serial port named '/dev/tty.usbmodem1411' could not be found.
      • It may not be turned on and plugged in.
