Artbridge Art Hacking meets whenever there's art to discuss during Doocratic Thursdays to collaborate on art projects and learn about different techniques and styles. Come bring your own ideas!
Tabletop Hobbying Miniature Model Sculpting/Painting Arts[edit | edit source]
We currently overlap wit Tablebridge's hobbying miniature painting activity as we have a shared goal of getting and setting up an Art Station and a gallery for exhibition of art.
Learning to make physical art[edit | edit source]
Making electronics art like LED Art, painting Wall Art, using the laser cutter and 3D printing to make sculptures, etc.,
- We're working on making new Donation Sign and LED Signage based on the template User:Jarrod gave us.
- We'd love somebody to share tutorials and/or teach how to do this stuff as most of us are just figuring it out ourselves!

Learning to make digital art[edit | edit source]
Artbridge mentoring tutorials will cover how to make 2D and 3D art with a number of tools you can try beforehand to be prepared:
- Mac/Windows/Linux Software
- Mac/Windows Software
- Adobe FireWorks bitmap/vector integrated editing (30 days free)
- Photoshop bitmap editing (30 days free)
- Sketchup 3D modeling FREE with the vast 3D Warehouse free model library
- Autodesk Maya 3D modeling/animation]
- Substance Painter 3D painting
- ZBrush 3D sculpting
- Physical art tools
- Canvas, paint and paintbrushes (there are usually some in the shop for canvas and murals)
- Pencils and lightbox for drawing 2D animation frames
- How-to-draw books are essential to study and learn about human figure drawing, action poses, perspectives, etc.
- A pocket Moleskine notebook is a good thing to have to sketch in every day to improve as an artist. Bring your sketchbook to class.
