&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;Benjamin has a long-standing background in software engineering. He studied Business Information Systems and went on to work as both a consultant and developer. In his spare time, he taught at five universities and founded several user groups in Germany, as well as run multiple conference series - serving in roles such as organization team lead, board chair, board member, content track lead, speaker, and workshop trainer.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He has delivered talks and keynotes in 19 countries and has been recognized by Oracle seven times as an ACE, Groundbreaker, and Developer Champion.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Beyond engineering, Benjamin built two consulting offices from the ground up, growing them to 18 employees, and founded a small startup that he later sold.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In 2023, he began traveling to San Francisco more frequently as client projects emerged, alongside a personal relationship. Since then, he has been an active member of the San Francisco Java Users Group team.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
