= Short announcements and events =

More of a reminder really. Sunday Streets Valencia st is July 30th. We need to get a group together to put a booth together! Check sunday-streets channel in discord if you want to help out!

Also an event called "Open Sauce" July 14-16th or something. Maker and science Youtubers expo. Noisebridge signed up for a booth there as well, and thus needs volunteers for that as well. Message @Arity or @Pyconaut on Discord! or check #open-sauce channel

= Excellence =
'''Our One Rule is to Be Excellent to Each Other.'''
(Reviewed on first Tuesday of month only)

What does that mean? Please see our page on excellence https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/Excellence!

What does Excellence mean?

Seems that excellence is a concept that relates to how we treate eachother in and out of the space, and how we treat the space itself. Going above and beyond just "being respectful" - its about making the space better than you found it each time and responding to others with generosity, kindness and respect.

Aiming for perfection, where you land is excellence.

I will add that it also refers to a certain set of practice for handling conflicts. See Conflict Resolution page on the wiki as well for guidelines and most excellent practices!

Remember: You aren't the one who defines your own actions as excellent.

== Anti-Harassment Policy & Community Standards of Excellence ==
Noisebridge has an [[Anti-Harassment Policy]] https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/Anti-Harassment_Policy
Everyone is expected to follow the Anti-Harassment Policy, please familiarize yourself with it.) TWO MINUTES MAX

= Guilds =
* '''What are guilds - briefly describe''' (much like the previous section on "Excellence")

Organized groups around topics or equipment like Sewing, Electronics and Gaming. Help to educate folks on best practices on using equipment.

= New Members/Associate Members =
What are they? Is anyone trying to become a Member or Associate Member? If not move on. No long discussions.

Membership is not required to be present at Noisebridge or use any equipment. Two levels of membership, capital M Members are responsible for the community.

TMoney - has been coming for a while, since the old space. wants to get more involved nowadays.

No one objects to TMoney - you are now an associate member!

= Discussion =

== Discussion Item 1 == access control/ keys, deadbolts and fire escape

== Discussion Item 2 ==working groups to review policies around asking to leave/ 86, due process &tc.

= Do-ocratic Task Board =
Participation also means doing stuff to contribute to the space. Propose new tasks or pick some tasks from [https://github.com/noisebridge/buildout-capp Github], from what needs to be done around you, or whatever, and see if someone will sign up to work on that task. Anyone can sign up and it's a great way to show you are contributing!

= End of Meeting =
