	*They recommend cotton fabric (most likely quilting cotton, though you could try T-shirt cotton as well).
	*Use stock on hand if at all possible. If you don't have elastic, use grosgrain ribbon or make straps ([https://twitter.com/nervous_jessica/status/1241829973742288902 at least 16"]; remember that 18" is half a yard) out of scrap fabric, and use those to tie behind your head.
	**If you do buy new fabric, elastic, thread, etc. during the pandemic, launder your masks after you finish making them. Don't let homemade masks become a vector.
