Sorry about the heavy undo action here https://noisebridge.net/index.php?title=Noisebridge&diff=next&oldid=35239. Here's a rationale for my edits:

Noisebridge has now been designated as...
Isn't that just a long winded version of "is"?

new visitors are just as welcome as always
If they are new, then they wouldn't have any reason to wonder why this statement might exist.

OTOH, gadlen, the most recent language using the terms "always welcome" is clearly more inviting and less cold to New Visitors. Although you yourself might disagree with this emphasis on attracting New Visitors to the Space, you might still want to more carefully review some of the Regular Members' proposals of this "more welcoming" matter on recent Discussion-list postings as well as in the last Meeting's minutes.

consider reading up on
No, it's important they read up on it.

OTOH, gadlen, the most recent language using the term "review"' succinctly hints at less in-depth "reading" of the required access methods; a definite +plus+ to many more of we excellent time-constrained folks.
Why indeed is it so "important" that New Visitors undergo the ordeal of being required to slog through something that even remotely approaches an undergraduate essay to find out what they really need to know??!!

but it's best to visit when Full or Associate Members are present
A new visitor doesn't care about the difference between full and associate members or that there is a difference. And saying it your way implies there is another, unstated type of member, which there isn't.

: Dearest 71.135.35.112, those are excellent edits, thanks! I'm glad we got to bounce them back and forth a bit.
: PS. A popular way to show discussion threading in Mediawiki is to add a ":" to the beginning of each line. That indents your text. Then the next response gets a "::", etc... It's not perfect, but that's what Wikipedia uses. Keep rocking. --gadlen (talk) 19:11, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
: gadlen, It does seem from the Community Standards history tab, that User:Flamsmark just went ahead and unilaterally shut out 71.135.45.11x for her/his/their editing there. So while it is certainly Excellent to be able to actively participate in the Wiki editing process just like you and 71.135.45.11x here, there are doubts whether User:Flamsmark himself will likewise participate par excellence, this based upon today's Getting In Revision history tab in which you last posed a reasonable question to him.
Any further thoughts or rapprochements on this last part?

:That is an excellent question! The gist is that it's really good for visitors to know that they will have a better experience (not get kicked out etc..) if they have a sponsor when they are in the space. This is because of the new "members and their guests only policy". So I'm guessing that the instructions to new visitors should try to strike a balance between "Visitors Welcome!" and "Here's exactly how to be an approved guest!" and "Look how easy it is to be an approved guest!" or something like that. And that is what is being worked on now... and you are participating in that very process! --gadlen (talk) 19:28, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

It seems from the Community Standards history tab,
that User:Flamsmark just went ahead and unilaterally decided to shut out
the 71.135.45.11x person for her/his editing there.
So while it is certainly Excellent to be able to actively
participate in the Wiki editing process just like you and that 71.135.45.11x
person here, there are doubts whether User:Flamsmark himself will
likewise participate par excellence, this based upon today's Getting In Revision history tab in which you last posed a reasonable question to him.

Any further thoughts or rapprochements on this?
