Noisebridge is a space for sharing, creation, collaboration, research, development, mentoring, and of course, learning. Noisebridge is also more than a physical space; it's a community with roots extending around the world.

For we're excellent to each other here
We rarely ever block
We value tools over pre-emptive rules
And spurn the key and the lock.
           — Danny O'Brien, 2010-11-09 general meeting notes

''We make stuff. So can you.''

I have severe gynecomastia, female like breasts. I however started developing breasts at puberty. By the time I started high school, I was wearing a bra fulltime. I was a 34C at that point.

Fast forward 30 years and I still wear a bra fulltime. I even wear a woman's tankini tops in the summer. I now wear a 36H in most of my bras. I have learned to accept them as a blessing and not a curse. My wife likes that I have them. They are just as much a part of sex as hers are.

My wife and I are very close in our bra size. I'm a 36H and she's a 38G and we can share a lot of our bras. I get fitted for my bras. I also have to get annual breast exams including a mammogram and sonogram because of my dense breast tissue.

I had considered a breast reduction or a double mastectomy in the past but I did not think that the cost, pain, recovery, or the risk was worth it. I just wear a comfortable and supportive bra that fits and I go about my day. I figured that women deal with everyday life with breasts that are bigger than mine. Wearing a bra and having breasts is not the worst thing in the world. Women everywhere have them and deal with the issues. Some guys are just blessed.

I should also add that I have had occasional lactation from time to time. I used the absorbent pads inserted in my bra. My sister happened to have a bag of them that she gave to me to try. They did the trick for me. She explained to why pumping off my breast milk wouldn't help and they would probably become further engorged.

You're not alone. I am 43 years old. I'm 210 lbs 6 foot tall. I have had gynecomastia since puberty. I am on the more severe end of gynecomastia. I wear a 36H in most of my bras I also wear a 38G in some as well. I have been wearing a bra fulltime for almost all of my adult life.

For me, I'm ok with wearing a bra. The cost, risk, pain, and recovery does out weigh a well fitted good supporting bras that fit. I don't plan on having surgery.

I wore an ill fitting 34A/32B through school, was probably more of a 28D back then, but still itty bittys.

It was not until I turned 19 that my boobs started to grow and went up to G cups in about 3 years. Then they settled for a few more years until I finished university and then grew again slowly until I was maybe HH/J cup and then they ballooned in 2 years to my current size. I'll be turning 30 this year and they're still changing it seems, although more in shape/hang than size, unsure.

I certainly don't know what causes it, my dr also does not know, it may just be genetics/hormones/age. I was a late bloomer and even though I always wanted big boobs and I had them and I enjoyed it, then, I didn't think they'd get so big. The larger you get the bigger the cons.
